Taj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz's tomb but an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva (then known as Tejo Mahalaya )
Its no secret for many historian that Shah jahan used to capture exceptionally beautiful mansions and temples as burial place for dead courtiers.
For example, Humayun,Akbar, Etmud-ud-Daula and Safdarjung are all buried in such mansions.
the enquiries began with the name of Taj Mahal. The term " Mahal " has never been used for a building in any Muslim countries from Afghanisthan to Algeria . "The unusual explanation that the term Taj Mahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal was illogical in atleast two respects.
Firstly, her name was never Mumtaz Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani,"
Secondly, one cannot omit the first three letters 'Mum' from a woman's
name to derive the remainder as the name for the building."Taj Mahal, is a corrupt version of Tejo Mahalaya, or Lord Shiva's Palace . the love story of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan is a fairy tale created by court sycophants, blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists Not a single royal chronicle of Shah Jahan's time corroborates the love story.
Furthermore, several documents suggesting the Taj Mahal predates Shah Jahan's era, and was a temple dedicated to Shiva, worshipped by Rajputs of Agra city. For example, Prof. Marvin Miller of New York took a few samples from the riverside doorway of the Taj. Carbon dating tests revealed that the door was 300 years older than Shah Jahan. European traveler Johan Albert Mandelslo,who visited Agra in 1638 (only seven years after Mumtaz's death), describes the life of the cit y in his memoirs. But he makes no reference to the Taj Mahal being built. The writings of Peter Mundy, an English visitor to Agra within a year of Mumtaz's death, also suggest the Taj was a noteworthy building well before Shah Jahan's time.
Prof. Oak points out a number of design and architectural inconsistencies that support the belief of the Taj Mahal being a typical Hindu temple rather than a mausoleum. Many rooms in the Taj ! Mahal have remained sealed since Shah Jahan's time and are still inaccessible to the public . Oak asserts they contain a headless statue of Lord Shiva and other objects commonly used for worship rituals in Hindu temples Fearing political backlash, Indira Gandhi's government t ried to have Prof. Oak's book withdrawn from the bookstores, and threatened the Indian publisher of the first edition dire consequences . There is only one way to discredit or validate Oak's research.
The current government should open the sealed rooms of the Taj Ma hal under
U.N. supervision, and let international experts investigate.

This is what i know about magnificent structure Taj Mahal;
Taj Mahal was built out of love of mogul emperor Shah Jahan towards Mumtaz Mahal. Shah Jahan ruled India for about 30 years and had more than enough woman :)) However, his favourite wife and only love that he had was Mumtaz Mahal. They got married when he was 14 years old and they had together 14 children but she died while having last one. Sad Shah decided to make most beautifull tomb in the world for his beloved wife - thats how Taj Mahal was created.
I guess im a sucker for love so i like to stick to the love story :) I like what u wrote and the effort it took, so thanks for showing it to me and continue doing such a good work :)

Yes indeed many proofs indicate that the Taj Mahal was in fact a Hindu temple to Lord Shiva rather than being a Mausoleum to Mumtaz - Ul - Zamani. Actually Mumtaz died 600 miles away from Angra and was burried in a garden of Ahu Mahal. There is no record to when the body was moved from 600 miles away Ahu Mahal to Taj Mahal in Angra. Some evidences may be categorised as below:
Documentary: A letter from Shah Jahan son to his father urging him that the Taj Mahal needs urgent repairs (had taj been build by emperor Shah Jahan guess a crack in the dome an leaks in the building at such an early stage seems not plausible). Notes of marble orders for Mumtaz tomb and koranic scriptures are the only evidence so far of emperor Shah Jahan link to Taj Mahal. But in fact they only support the fact that Shah used them to plunder the Hindu origins of taj. Also had Shah really build taj over a period of 22 years marble for the interior of the building would have been needed some 15 to 20 years after the death of mumtaz and not 2 years after.
Europeans visits to Angra: Tavernier notes that the inside fixtures of the taj were being more costly than the building itself. In fact some places of the Taj were being sealed and the Shiva Idol being removed to the planting of the centotaphs and it is these fixtures that actually lasted 22 years. Also Peter Mundy noting the Taj one year after mumtaz death in his writings.
Inconsistencies: One great inconsistency in my opinion is the failure of great Shah Jahan to note his building the Taj. He quoted 14 chapters of the Koran in the Taj but failed to write that he actually build it. Also is a drum house in the mausoleum where silence is needed. Also there is a lot of chambers that have been sealed with brick in some places without plastering. Why were these chambers sealed since Shah Jahan time?
Had Taj been build for Mumtaz the official date of her burial in the Taj would have been know. In a harem of 5000 wives death or burial dates would have been impossible to trace and record.
